Savehive is built to be private by default. This page explains, in plain language, how your data is handled.

Your stash stays on your device

Everything you save — links, notes, photos, screenshots and the text extracted from them — is stored locally on your device. Savehive is offline-first: it works without an account and without a connection.

On-device processing

Text recognition (OCR) on your images runs entirely on your device. Your photos and screenshots are not uploaded to a server to be read.

No ads, no trackers, nothing sold

Savehive has no advertising, no third-party analytics trackers, and never sells your data. When you save a link, the app fetches that page's public preview information (title and image) directly.

Purchases

Savehive Pro is handled through the App Store / Google Play and their in-app purchase provider. Purchases are tied to your device's store account, not to a Savehive account.
